HTML5 Offline & Storage Capability

Thanks to the HTML5 App Cache, the Local Storage API, the Indexed DB and The File API, new Web Applications will now be able to function almost entirely as local desktop ones!

Most of them, will even be able to work Offline! This is very similar to what Google Gear does, it enabled Google’s Applications such as Gmail to work (at least partly) offline.

Only your imagination can limit you to what you could do with such great new capabilities added to the web browser!
